Two people were killed and three others injured in a motorcycle collision at Banouli, Khadak Municipality\u201311, along the Hulaki Road section in Saptari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police, a motorcycle (Madhesh Province 01\u2013005 Pa 6832) heading towards Rajbiraj from Bodebarsain collided head-on with another motorcycle (Madhesh Province 2\u201301\u2013003 Pa 6932) coming from the opposite direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the victims, 28-year-old Chintamani Chaudhary<\/strong>, a resident of Khadak Municipality\u201310 Belaha, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Chhinnamasta Hospital, Rajbiraj, on Thursday night. Another rider, 27-year-old Sobin Chaudhary<\/strong>, from Surunga Municipality\u20137, also died during treatment around 11 PM, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dambar Puri of Saptari District Police Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families after postmortem examination on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Among the injured are 25-year-old Ramita Chaudhary<\/strong>, wife of Sobin Chaudhary, who sustained injuries to her abdomen and both legs, and 8-year-old Rachana Chaudhary<\/strong>, daughter of Sobin\u2019s friend Santosh Chaudhary, who suffered head and leg injuries.
