The public holiday announced for Monday (Ashwin 20) in Kathmandu and Lalitpur districts has been revoked.
On Sunday night, the respective District Administration Offices issued separate notices directing all government offices, institutions, and local bodies to resume operations from 10 AM on Monday.
Earlier, a two-day public holiday on Ashwin 19 and 20 had been declared to focus on rescue and relief efforts following continuous rainfall. However, with improvements in weather conditions and reduced risk, the administration offices of both districts have decided to cancel the holiday.
