The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that monsoon winds and moisture-laden air from the Bay of Bengal are currently influencing Nepal’s weather patterns.
At present, Koshi Province, Madhesh Province, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province are experiencing generally cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country remains partly cloudy. Light to moderate rainfall is occurring in some areas of Koshi and Madhesh Provinces.
For tomorrow afternoon, the Division forecasts generally cloudy conditions over Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, with partly cloudy skies elsewhere. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, and at one or two locations in the hilly and Terai regions of other provinces.
Furthermore, in the next 24 hours, heavy rainfall is likely at some places in Madhesh Province and in the hilly and Terai regions of Koshi Province. The Division has urged the public and concerned authorities to stay updated with the latest weather information.
