The Gen Z Movement Alliance has clarified that it will not participate in the protest scheduled for October 9 (Ashwin 23). The Gen-Z Movement, which had called for a protest on Bhadra 23, is one of the groups behind the original movement.
Recently, some individuals and groups have been promoting on social media that a second Gen Z protest will take place on October 9. The Alliance expressed disagreement with this and stated that attempts to associate the organization with violence, chaos, or undemocratic activities are unacceptable.
In its statement, the Alliance urged its supporters, well-wishers, and all Nepalis not to take part in any provocative activities. It condemned actions that spread fear, distrust, and disorder, emphasizing that violence, intimidation, and anarchy can never provide solutions to societal problems and only create an atmosphere of fear in the community.
