Prime Minister Sushila Karki has convened a meeting of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council. The meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday at 11:30 AM. According to Dinesh Prasad Bhatt, Executive Chief of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, the meeting was called by the Prime Minister to address urgent disaster-related concerns. Gold and Silver Prices Reach Record High in Nepal

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of minted gold increased by NPR 2,500 on Monday, reaching NPR 233,100 per tola. Previously, on Sunday, gold was traded at NPR 230,600 per tola, making this the highest price recorded so far. Similarly, the price of silver also rose today. The association reported that silver increased by NPR 30 per tola, reaching NPR 2,960 per tola, up from NPR 2,930 per tola on Sunday.
