The tradition of receiving Tika continued on Friday, the second day of Dashain. Following the Vijaya Dashami rituals, where the red Tika—a symbol of auspiciousness—and Jamara—a symbol of prosperity—are applied by elders, people continued visiting relatives to receive Tika today.
